School Rules and Regulations
- Fees are due on the first day of term. After that, late payments will incur a 10% surcharge. Fees are non-refundable and you will not be reimbursed for absence. PLEASE NOTE: IN THE CASE OF A CHILD CHOOSING TO STOP A CLASS PART WAY THROUGH A TERM, THE REMAINING CLASSES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
- Correct uniform should be worn to all classes and hair should be appropriately styled. Teachers have the right to refuse a pupil entry to the class if they do not arrive with suitable attire. Please see the 'Uniform' page for details of what to wear to each class. Jewellery should not be worn and we recommend that dance shoes are not worn outside.
- Examinations take place at regular intervals. You will be informed when your child is ready to take an examination. It is necessary to attend extra lessons in order to prepare for examinations and candidates may be withdrawn if the teacher feels the required standard has not been met prior to the examination.
- Discipline is a key element of dance training and we expect the highest standards of behaviour whilst your child is in our care.
- Please inform us of any illness, injury, allergies or conditions your child might have if you think it is relevant to their dancing or their ability to learn. New pupils will be given a registration form where such details can be stated.
- Parents are not permitted to watch classes except at designated times throughout the year.
- The timetable, staff and other elements may be changed at any time but we will always aim to cause the least inconvenience possible.

- A WhatsApp message will be sent to all the groups
- You will not be reimbursed for classes cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, if able to all classes will be reverted to Zoom
- If your child is unable to attend a class for a period of two consecutive weeks or more, please inform the relevant teacher otherwise we will assume you have left and may allocate your place to another child.
- Please keep absences to a minimum at all times where possible as this can affect the progress of the whole class as well as the individual who has missed classes. In the run up to shows or exams, every lesson must be attended unless there are exceptional circumstances which prevent this.
- If a pupil decides to leave the dance school, under no circumstances must the pupil continue to use dances for eisteddfods that have been choreographed by any teachers from Adele Stitch School of Dance, unless permission is sought from the choreographer and Principal.
